This week we have been gone on vacation. It has been nice, but short it seems time has flown by. We made our annual family trip with my side of the family. I love big family vacations! Although doing just the easiest things seem way to complicated with a family our size. We decided to travel to Florida, make a trip to some of our bucket list locations; Disney World, Kennedy Space Center, Silver Springs, Aquatica, and the beach.
My mother and father chose Silver Springs as a must do on this trip. My father visited this park as a young boy with his family, and he had great stories to tell us about his experience there. He even took my mother there for their 25 wedding anniversary. So we visited Silver Springs on our third day.
Great sight seeing, the grounds of this State Park were beautiful
My favorite was the Glass bottom boat ride, you could see the bottom of the natural springs crystal clear. There were turtles, fish and gators.
This place is famous for past movie venues including Jame Bond movies, Creature from the Black Lagoon, and the Tarzan series in the 1930's.
and to finish the trip off we had ice cream
Day 2
I've never been to Disney World, yes I've been to Florida on vacation before but not to any of the Disney World Parks. When we originally decided to vacation here again we decided to visit Disney's Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Epcot. We wanted to do one character dinner, take the girls to the princess salon as well. Due to unforeseen changes to many family members vacation $$$ we really only had the opportunity to visit one park and eliminate all the other costly events. We chose the Magic Kingdom
Out of this group there were a few returning to Disney, Hunter has been (7) times I believe, Dad Eugene has been (1), Chelsey (1-2?), Eliane (?). The rest of us (0).
The ferry over we had a view of the beach area where 2 year old Lane Graves was attacked and killed by an alligator. Very sad, not many words for this!
We were taking over to the park via a ferry boat that looks like this one
Then we got to watch the opening act
Then everything started to get a little fuzzy from this point on as the heat went to 500,000 degrees
I don't have many more photos because my camera melted.
