Bragging on my Babies

Splash highlights......

Haven had another great year of cheer with SPLASH....... She is becoming a very sassy cheer girl to say the least. Her tumbling has improved and she can now do her back-handspring, scorpion and other various tricks that this momma is still learning about. Congrats to Haven and all the girls on a fantastic and fun cheer season.

Along with competitive cheer Haven has also been competing in dance competitions. No matter how many times I watch them perform this routine it always makes me laugh. They are too cute for their own good!

Now to brag on my Big Man. many know that Hunter had a fantastic year of football. The PCHS Maroons won the class 5A State Championship in December and it was a perfect way to end his high school football career. Hunter is a great athlete, and not just on the field. He is a good boy!!! It makes this momma's heart sing when ever people come up to us in the community and comment on how well we did raising our son. It wasn't our parenting that made Hunter the fine young man he is today, but rather a combination of faith, family, and friends that have paved the road to help Hunter reach the place he is in right now. We have been blessed by the influential people God has strategically placed in his life.
Hunter made almost all the outstanding special teams in football. He was all county, all region, all-state. He received awards for being a leader on and off the field. He received overall excellence award in the State championship game. He also was given the opportunity to participate in the Border Bowl game between Kentucky All-State and Tennessee All-State players. He earned two championship rings one for the Border Bowl and the other for the State Championship.

Recently Hunter made his decision about college. Hunter was offered a scholarship to play football at the University of the Cumberlands. He has decided to major in criminal justice, with a focus on getting into the FBI one day. Such a proud moment for our entire family. Hunter is the first Grandchild to attend college, and on a scholarship too. A very long way from his great-grandparents, who did not complete school. We are so proud of you Hunter Dale, you are so loved ,don't ever forget that!!!
