Thankful Thursday

Today I was thankful for a lot. (1) No class on Thursday, so I could spend some quality time with my kids. (2) The sunshine with a nice breeze, so it wasn't to miserable outside. (3) For my brother and sister-in-law who went with me today to keep an extra eye on the little ones. (4) For spf 50, kept us from getting sunburned. I'm just Thankful!!!!!!!

My Dad

Happy Father's Day Daddy. You're the best!!!

What a wonderful Daddy!

Brian, you amaze me everyday. God has blessed me so much by giving me such a wonderful lifetime love, parenting partner, and best friend. Your love for our children is something that makes me love you more everyday. You are always so kind, patient, understanding, and forgiving not only with the kids but with me too. Thank you for being who you are, and never forget how much you mean to our family. Love, Jennifer

Busy Day!

When my feet hit the floor this morning they were already smokin'! I made breakfast cleaned the kitchen. Unloaded and reloaded the dishwasher, made tea, swept and mopped the entire first floor, made lunch, completed 6 loads of laundry, cleaned the windows, made some more tea, dusted, and watched four little people in the mean time. Now I just need to get the kids to VBS, Hunter has a game, I must finish reading 3 chapters and study for a quiz, study for a test, practice my check-off, write a paper, do a presentation, find a quantitative article before tomorrow, fix supper, and finish 15 on-line tests for music appre. Man this summer is flying bye!!

Kid's Bath redo

The bathroom decor for our kids has been the same for 8 years now, and I was really tired of it, not to mention That it was more for little boys than for our daughter. Haven is sharing a bathroom with Harrison and Hagan now that Hunter has his own down stairs, and I have been looking for a new theme for several months. Pottery Barn had this bathroom decor on sale and I made good with it. I painted the walls a lovely blue called adrift, and Harrison just so happened to draw and color a piece of art that matches just perfect. Then I made finger paint artwork with each one of their hand prints and framed them. I think it turned out pretty nice myself, just need to make the window treatment and I'll be done with it completely.
