January News

We celebrated Hagan's birthday with a Mr.Gatti's party. I'm not big on spending money on arcade games, it's just not my thing. But Hagan really wanted to have his party there, so we did, and they all had a good time. We are now finished with birthdays until August (thank goodness)!

Then I took a drive to Frankfort, to finalize some more paperwork for our adoption.

Next our Boy Scout den went to watch the Harlem Globetrotters show at Rupp Arena, I had to work that day so Brian took all the kids by himself, that's one of the million things I love about my husband. He is such an amazing dad to our children. Most men would be slightly intimidated to take 4 children to events by their self, but my man.....no way.....

so I have everything in January caught up so far, pretty proud of myself. Hopefully I won't fall off the blogging wagon anytime soon. Busy with basketball games, boy scouts, awana, dance, cheerleading, music lessons, work, and graduate school times two parents, but we wouldn't want it any other way!!!! As I sit here posting these photos this is my view

Thank you Santa for the wonderful Kindle Fires, the three little ones are very happy!

What up for 2013?

Very ashamed to admit it but I'm to busy thinking about the here and now, to think about what's coming. But I am making myself write something to look back at later. I am glad to see the end of 2012, and I am making a new list for 2013. I would love to do a lot more this year than last year, and I laugh out loud as I typed that, because it's just so freaking funny! I don't have time to really do anything, but yet I am always looking for something to do. Oh Well, can't a girl dream? This is what I would like to get accomplished in 2013
  • Hadley has to come home, period the end............
  • Take a winter trip with my family
  • Have more dates with my husband
  • Spend more time with my kids, one on one
  • Get away with my honey on our anniversary
  • Redo the office, get it organized
  • read more of my bible, I can never do enough of that
  • Get together with my friends at least every couple of months
  • Host a Mother- daughter luncheon this spring
  • Go on a vacation with my family to a lake cabin
  • Take a lot more photos of my family
  • Try to exercise more
Now there are a few more things that come to mind, but this list will be enough for now. I would also like to be a better blogger this year. last year I fell of the radar a lot. (My family had a very bad, bad, bad year). I hope that 2013 brings lots of joy to my family this year.

Hunter's 16th Birthday

Hunter turned 16 on 12/19. So proud of the young man he has become. We asked him several times what he wanted to do for his birthday, but he had no idea what to do. So we decided to take him out to eat and both sets of his grandparents were able to come. I think he had a good time. We went to Red Lobster. He was so happy with his presents, Brian and I had his deer's head mounted, and Rick and Barbara bought him a hunting rifle.
